If you’re feeling a bit anxious right now, chances are you are tuning into the Full Moon which took place in the middle of the night here in the UK.

Here’s the thing; the Moon is all about emotions in astrology, so it’s no surprise that as the Moon swells to fullness, we start to feel all our feelings (love that expression) more and more!

It can also heighten intuition and make us feel more vulnerable.

We are now in the post-Full Moon waning cycle of the Moon so here are 3 ways to tap into that energy to calm down after the Full Moon energy…

1. Moon Bathing:

Embrace the calming energy of the Waning Moon by spending time outside under its light. As the Moon wanes, everything naturally begins to calm down, offering a perfect opportunity for you to tap into this soothing energy. Find a quiet spot, sit or lie down comfortably, and allow the moonlight to wash over you. As you relax, visualize the moonlight cleansing away your anxiety, leaving you with a sense of peace and tranquility. Breathe out and let go of any tension, knowing that your energies will follow suit and relax a little. This simple yet powerful ritual can help you feel more grounded and connected to the lunar energies during this healing phase.

2. Waning Moon Meditation:

Try a Waning Moon meditation to harness the Moon’s gentle energy for emotional healing and release. Find a comfortable and quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Close your eyes and take deep breaths, inhaling calm and exhaling tension. Visualize a beam of soft, silvery moonlight entering your body, filling you with serenity. As you meditate, focus on letting go of any anxieties or fears you may have. Imagine the moonlight dissolving these negative emotions, leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease. You can also incorporate a mantra or affirmation, such as “I release what no longer serves me,” to enhance the experience.

3. Crystal Healing:

Harness the power of crystals to balance your emotions and ease Waning Moon-related anxiety. Crystals such as amethyst, moonstone, and selenite are particularly effective during the Waning Moon. Amethyst promotes calmness and clarity, moonstone enhances emotional stability, and selenite cleanses and purifies energy. Hold your chosen crystal in your hand or place it on your body while lying down. Visualize the crystal absorbing your anxiety and replacing it with calm and balanced energy. You can also create a crystal grid under the moonlight to amplify the healing effects, focusing on making peace and healing during this phase.
