I had a great question from one of my Sun, Moon & Stars members the other day…
She asked; When is the best month/astro sign or Moon phase or Moon cycle to create a manifesting vision board?
Before I answer, we should define our terms!
A vision board (aka a dream board) is usually a collage of images and affirmations (often from pictures downloaded from the net or taken from magazines) which illustrates your dreams and desires.
For example, say you’re dreaming of finding your dream partner and you happen to love, say, skiing…
… and you would love a beloved you can ski with (this is just a super random example!)
… you could find a picture of a couple looking very loved up on the slopes!
The idea is that the board reminds you of what you want so you can start to see it all as real.
The short answer is this:
Any time is a good time to make a vision board…
However it’s even better to making one in the Waxing Cycle
Why?
Because the Waxing Cycle, which runs from New Moon to Full Moon, is the time of the month when it’s all about focusing on our dreams and what we want to achieve.
By contrast, the Waning Cycle, from Full Moon and back to New Moon, is all about releasing and letting go. So it’s really not ideal for making your vision board – then unless your vision board is all about what you want to release rather than what you want to create!
Better yet…
And then of course, if you want to be even more precise, it’s ideal to make the vision board at the time of the New Moon or just afterwards while the Moon is still in the New Moon phase. The New Moon phase lasts for up to three days after the New Moon so there’s plenty of time to get organised.
The ultimate time…
And if you want to be absolutely on top of the whole thing, but the icing on the cake is to do it when the planets are in a harmonious alignment. In other words, when there are no planetary clashes happening during the New Moon phase.
Sounds complicated? It’s really not!
This is the summary…
Best times to make a vision board…
-
Ideally make the vision board during the Waxing Cycle of the Moon (from New to Full Moon).
-
Better yet make it up to three days after the New Moon, while we’re still in the New Moon phase.
-
Even better yet, make it while we are still in the New Moon phase and when there is a harmonious planetary alignment coming up.
Obviously if you know astrology, it’s easy enough to work out when harmonious alignments are coming up.
