It’s really good to do a gratitude practice around each Quarter Moon - Yasmin Boland

So, what is the quarter moon?

You might know we get a new moon and a full moon every month. But did you know we also get two quarter moons?

The first quarter moon takes place between the new moon and the full moon. And the last quarter moon takes place between the full moon and the new moon. So, in fact, the quarter moons take place about two weeks apart from each other.

The first quarter moon comes about a week after the new moon. And the last quarter moon comes about a week after the full moon.

Are you keeping up?

The first quarter moon is a time when challenges might arise which will test you to see how committed you are to the wishes you made or the intentions you set one week ago at the new moon.

The third quarter moon comes to test you to see did you really let all that *!!* go at the full moon. Are you on the road to making peace with yourself?

The new moon and the full moon get so much attention, but the quarter moons are also brilliant.

The first quarter moon, a week after the new moon, is great for checking in with yourself to see if you’re actually keeping all your promises to yourself.

And the last quarter moon, a week before the new moon, is a really good time to make sure that you’ve just let all that !**! go.

A really good practice to do around either of the quarter moons, the first or the last quarter moon, is to do a gratitude practice. Reason being, a gratitude practice will move you into a state of gratitude and that will get you out of your ego. Once you’re out of your ego, you become a much more powerful manifestor.
