Happy eclipse day!
✨🌙 As we finally move into this first eclipse season of the year with today’s Full Moon eclipse, I feel a pull to share a bit more about my journey into the cosmic world of Moonology and astrology. It’s a story that starts in an unexpected place and leads to, well, the Sun, Moon and stars.
I hope you will see it as a sign that you can ALWAYS pivot, no matter where you are! 🌟
Once upon a time, I wasn’t charting celestial bodies or interpreting lunar phases. My world revolved around deadlines, stories, and the hustle of being a journalist and TV producer.
But there came a turning point, a moment that set my life on a completely different trajectory.
I remember it vividly. I was tasked by a UK magazine to cover a story on an Eastenders actress Daniella Westbrook (pictured), who was facing a very public personal struggle with drugs.
She seemed to have come through the worst of it, so when a women’s mag sent me off to interview Daniella, I envisioned a narrative of resilience and hope, but the directive was clear: “No! Stitch her up! Make her look as bad as you can!”
That was the moment I knew.
The journalism I loved, which was about storytelling and truth, seemed lost to sensationalism. And so, I found myself saying no to writing the article and standing at a crossroads, questioning my path.
In my search, I dove into the unknown.
I wrote a novel, I learned to meditate, and backpacked across Europe and Asia.
My world expanded in ways I never imagined…
It was during this period of exploration and self-discovery that I stumbled upon astrology. The stars, it seemed, had a language of their own, and I was eager to learn it.
Meditation opened doors to learning about chakras and embracing New Age philosophies, each step guiding me closer to my true calling.
Fast forward 20 years, and here we are.
My journey into the cosmic has been unexpected, enriching, and utterly transformative.
One of the biggest turning points came at the end of last century with the eclipse that brought Britain to a standstill.
It triggered my Daily Life Zone and true to form, my daily life changed dramatically, as I segued from a somewhat disillusioned journalist to an author and astrologer. That was when I wrote my first big article about astrology.
Every experience has been a stepping stone to where I stand today – in a place where I can share the magic of the cosmos with you.
As we navigate this eclipse season together, remember: it’s never too late to find your path, to pivot, to discover new worlds – both outside and within.
