There are two eclipses this month. The first, a new moon partial solar eclipse in your opposite sign of Cancer, happens on July 13. On the back of this energy, you can effectively start again in one or more of your close relationships, but this might require some sensitive negotiations. People are always touchier during eclipse season. Others seem eager to please, and could also be looking for praise, but if this is too grovelling, grasping or desperate, your first instinct might be to look the other way. Hearts can be broken, but they can also mend because an eclipse month is an optimistic month, and an intuitive shorthand should exist between you and the people that you care about most in this life.
The second eclipse is a full moon total lunar eclipse on July 28 in the sign of Aquarius. This gives you a good nose for investments and for what is worth it and what isn’t. This eclipse will also guide you to what is valuable, and also magnifies the value of your own contribution, and you can be sympathetic to someone that keeps repeating the same mistakes, but only to a point. You’re too practical to be bent and shaped around somebody else’s whims.
But there’s more to the month than just the eclipses. Mercury turns retrograde on July 26, and so you probably won’t feel as feel propped up emotionally or as secure with taking even considered risks, while your ruler Saturn also has something to say on the 14th when it gets on the same page as love planet Venus. This is going to bring some serious consideration before any commitments are made, or it might also point to some breathing space in a relationship, or the laying down of more elastic boundaries – or, if you’re single, the start of a long distance relationship or online flirtation.
