3 REASONS WHY YOU’RE STRESSED (Spoiler; it’s very likely the eclipses)
In case you hadn’t noticed, eclipses can be stressful! So if you’re feeling a little sideways right now, that’s probably why!
Eclipses, both solar and lunar, have long been associated with stress and anxiety in many cultures… There are loads of reasons why – here are a few of them …
1. Eclipse seasons feel unpredictable
Back in the day, people didn’t know an eclipse was coming so in the case of a total solar eclipse, the sky would unexpectedly go dark and PEOPLE WOULD FREAK OUT! (Understandable, really!)
It’s kind of in our DNA – sun goes out, we feel weird. Even now, eclipses create a sense of uncertainty and unpredictability, which can be unsettling for many people, even if we are not in the path of an eclipse. Plus they are just strange times when portals to a new life open and close down and we have to decided if we’re jumping through or not.
2. You know change is coming…
As well, eclipses are often associated with significant; changes and endings. They are a time of transformation and renewal, and that is stressful – all upheaval is, right?
Many people feel a sense of unease or fear about what an eclipse might bring, especially if they are already going through a challenging time in their lives. On some level, you know change is coming…
3. Everyone is on tenterhooks
Also, eclipses are often times of heightened emotions. People feel emotional or irritable – and this can be exacerbated if the eclipse falls in a particularly sensitive or vulnerable area of your astrological chart.
And we have to deal with all this!
Overall, eclipses *can* be exciting and awe-inspiring events which lead to a new life. However, they can also be stressful, so do take care of yourself and try to recognize that any intense emotions or stresses you’re be feeling are understandable…
