A colleague, who always makes weird unsupportable statements as if they were fact, came at me this week with the notion that I was believing fake news and conspiracy theories and I was not capable of critical thinking when reading the news…said that even people who seem to be really smart are stupid and believe that stuff, but he is supposedly too smart to read the news at all because “it’s all rigged.” Never mind my IQ, I had been quoting the Washington Post! I pretty much said “How dare you?” and rang off, never intend to talk again.
